Our client, a Government Agency, had a mission critical Documentum Webtop-based application that had been developed and maintained by a major Systems Integration company. However, the application did not perform well and crashed frequently. The services of an expert Documentum Webtop consultant were urgently required to help resolve the problems and so Aptus was called in to provide the required troubleshooting skills.
Having reviewed the situation our consultant identified the code that caused the problem, replicated the situation in a test harness, developed a fix and tested it in the test harness before deploying the fix to their production environment and returning a resilient application to the user community.
Throughout the engagement our consultant kept our client informed of progress and having resolving the problem, he provided advice and guidance to the developers by explaining the cause of the problem and how to avoid it in the future.
