If you have invested in Documentum's content management platform you are only a few steps away from a solution for email management.

DocMail enables the archiving and retrieval of email messages and attachments in Documentum's content repository. It works with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and a number of other email clients because it is standards based.

Policies and information lifecycles can be applied to email and attachments moved to the Documentum repository.

DocMail is a server-based solution, requiring only configuration settings to be made on the client side. The interface remains the existing email client. DocMail is easy and low cost to deploy, even for large user populations, and requires a minimum of training.
